Registering for CATE 2023 is a simple 4-step process on the platform ConfTool. Please click on the registration link available on the website under the ‘Register’ tab.

Step by step guide to register for Comfort At The Extremes (CATE) 2023 Conference via ConfTool

• If you are not already registered on the ConfTool, you will need to create an account. This involves providing your name, email address, setting a password, and providing any other required information. After creating an account, log in using your username/email and password.
• If you are already registered on ConfTool, log in using your existing username/email and password.

After successfully logging in to the ConfTool, follow the 4 step process with instructions mentioned below:

Step 1: Select Participant Status: Please select the status that is relevant to your registration. The CATE2023 conference has 4 categories available for registration

• In-person: The CATE 2023 conference is open to all upon registration. It is scheduled to be held at CEPT University, Ahmedabad, India. Access to all proceedings of the conference, conference kit, conference dinner on 14th December 2023 and lunch on 14th and 15th December 2023 are included with In-person registration.
• Online: The online participation to CATE2023 conference is open to all upon registration. Access to all proceedings of the conference via online mode and access to the conference handbook.
• CEPT Students: CEPT students who have registered full-time for monsoon semester 2023 are eligible for complimentary conference registration. The students will need to submit a bonafide certificate (obtained through the online platform) and a letter on why they want to attend the CATE 2023 conference. They are not eligible for food coupons and conference kits.
• CEPT Full time and Adjunct faculty: CEPT full time and adjunct faculty are eligible for complimentary conference registration. A letter from the Dean is required for the complimentary registration. They are not eligible for food coupons and conference kits. 

All CEPT students and CEPT full time and adjunct faculty presenting a paper at CATE2023 need to register as in-person delegates with full-time conference fees.

After selecting the relevant participant status, proceed to Step 2 of the registration.

Step 2: Select the events. The conference registration also provides options to additionally choose workshops, technical tour and excursions. Note the date and time slots. For Miscellaneous section Remark of the Participant, kindly refer to ‘Payment Guidance’ and fill in the relevant information.

Step 3: Payment Details: There are two payment methods available for the participants to choose based on their preferred mode of payment.

• Confirm invoice details and select payment method. Indian Delegates may use ‘Bank Transfer’ and International Delegates may use ‘PayPal’ as the preferred mode of payment. 
• CEPT students and full time and adjunct faculty category of attendees will have to pay the administration fees if they register for the workshops.
• In Reference number Tab, enter GST or any reference number relevant to your registration, if applicable.

Step 4: Confirm Registration. This page will show a summary of registration with additional events selected. Confirm registration and make the payment via details sent to your email address.

You will get a temporary confirmation email acknowledging the completion of your registration process. After the successful payment transaction has been verified by the conference organizers, a final confirmation will be sent to your email address confirming your registration status to the CATE2023 conference.

Note:

• All presenters and attendees are required to register.
• The first author and presenter of the work can be different as long as the presenter are part of the team involved in the scientific work.
• In case of cancellation due to any reason, no refunds will be provided.
• Registrations will be non-transferable. Access to the conference lectures, keynotes, and presentations will be provided to the registered person only.
• The costs mentioned above cover conference attendance and submission of one paper (subject to abstract and paper acceptance). For each additional paper, the registration cost will increase by 50%. For example- the cost of presenting two papers online will be INR 30,750, if registered before 15th Oct 2023.
