Call for Abstracts


CATE 2023 invites contributions in the form of an extended abstract.


Abstracts need to be submitted on the online submission system- ConfTool. All abstracts will undergo a double-blind peer review process. The review will consider whether the material is pertinent to the CATE 2023 themes, is clear, and will hold conference attendees' interest. The scientific committee retains the right to group your work according to the pertinent theme and panels, contribution, or presentation style.

  • AIM AND APPROACH

    Describe the aim and approach of the work in 200 words. Include the hypothesis(es) and objective of the study. State the purpose, scope, limitations, and assumptions of the study clearly. Briefly describe the method used in the study

  • SCIENTIFIC INNOVATION AND RELEVANCE

    This section should establish the relevance of the study by providing a scientific background in 300 words. Highlight the originality of the work with respect to innovation or application, whichever applies.

  • PRELIMINARY RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS

    Present the results with brief overall comments on the findings in not more than 300 words. Include one key table, image, or infographic that summarizes the results.
    Provide brief, precise, and novel conclusions derived from the results.

  • MAIN REFERENCES

    Cite the literature in APA seventh edition parenthetical format in 200 words.

PRESENTATION TYPES

CATE 2023 offers two types of presentation modes. Presenters can choose either of the modes. We encourage in-person presentations for maximum interaction but also allow online presentations. As CATE 2023 will be in a hybrid mode, the presenter can present their work either in person or through the virtual platform.

  • POSTER

    This conference will include poster sessions where you can present your project in-depth and engage in social networking.

  • PAPER

    Presenters can present a full paper subject to acceptance of the abstracts and paper.
